For the first seven years ICO concentrated on Dedicated Servers, however, in the mid 2000s, virtualization technology became a real option to add to our offering and we became the first web hosting company in the world to offer virtualization technology in the form of Virtual Dedicated Servers.
In July 2007 the business of ICO International Pty Limited (ICO) was acquired by the itX Group Limited and continued to enjoy steady growth. In early 2011, the itX Group was acquired by the global technology and electronics company, Avnet, listed on the New York Stock Exchange and we are now proud to be part of a global business.
